Crucible® Consultation Group-Beginner
Lacy Stump, LCMFT & Yara Perez, LCPC, ASSECT CST, will be offering a beginner level Crucible Therapy Consultation Group starting in April of 2026.
This group is open to licensed therapists, or students enrolled in an accredited therapy graduate program. No prior Crucible training is necessary to attend this group. If you have attended prior Crucible Therapy trainings and have an interest in learning more of the basics of Crucible Therapy, this group would also be a good fit for you. If you do not meet the above-mentioned criteria, you may contact us directly to inquire about eligibility.
The bulk of this group will consist of case consultation, with each member presenting one of their own cases to be reviewed through the Crucible therapy lens. Areas of particular focus will include but not be limited to:
Crucible therapy concepts- pacing and leading, gaining traction, balanced approach, collaborative alliances, third view in the room
Differentiation of the therapist
Person of the therapist issues that get in the way of treatment
Seeing cases clearly
Handling client moves
Getting cases unstuck
Bringing clients to critical mass
Crucible Neurobiological Therapy- interpersonal neurobiological wiring problems, acute and steady state regressions
When: 1st Wednesday of the month beginning in April of 2026 and ending in September 2026 (6 consecutive months).
Exact dates: April 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, August 5, September 2
Time: 10am-1pm Central Time
Cost: $2100 (payable in two installments if preferred)
Participants: 6-8

About Your Presenters:
Lacy Stump is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Crucible Therapist who trained with Dr. David Schnarch from 2016 to 2020. She currently facilitates a Crucible Webinar series in the U.S. and engages in individual supervision for those desiring to become better Crucible therapists. She is a member of the steering committee for the International Crucible Therapy Education Center (ICTEC) and is committed to furthering the training and development of Crucible Therapy and Crucible Neurobiological Therapy. She lives in Wichita, KS and works in private practice with a focus on couples therapy.
Yara Perez is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Maine. She earned her masters from John F. Kennedy University California Counseling Psychology program in 2003. Yara has been in private practice since 2007 working with a diverse group of clients, including gender, sexual orientation, and race/ethnicity including Spanish speaking population. Yara has extensive post-masters training as a couples therapist and sex therapist. She is a certified sex therapist through the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Therapists, and Counselors (AASECT).
